Jack Story

Jack was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia before moving to Poughkeepsie, New York to attend Vassar College. At Vassar, Jack played baseball and worked toward his B.A. in Biochemistry. During this time, he worked under Dr. Evan Howard in methodology development for the facile, efficient synthesis of 2-naphthols. Following graduation, Jack returned to Georgia to attend Emory University in pursuit of a PhD in Chemistry, joining the Wuest Lab in the Fall of 2025. Outside of the lab, Jack enjoys video games, cooking, fishing, and listening to his favorite genre of music: Yacht Rock.
